There’s something strange yet enticing about Historic Erotica’s large collection of truly vintage porn films. It’s a way to peer back into the history of the industry, showing a gradual evolution from older works to the intensely hot content of today! The site features a staggering collection of more than two thousand three hundred DVDs and over one hundred and fifty photo sets, stretching back decades. Now on the surface, the site boasts “Nothing but rare XXX hardcore porn,” but it also has an enticingly large library of softcore portraits and glamour shots. (Let me see those naughty ankles, ladies!) for those of you less inclined to seeing hardcore bareback action that dates all the way back to the mid fifties. It may not all be the hottest action around, and it’s definitely an incredibly unique niche, but Historic Erotica is absolutely a very important historical record, which we believe makes it so much more than just hot porn.

Many of the videos are grainy, which lends them a more authentic feeling that just feels right about watching such old school porn. Unfortunately, the site hasn’t been updated in a very long time, despite having rare and valuable uploads like Betty Page’s early work or porn shoots from the 70’s. What’s more, there’s a large difference between the vast DVD collection and the tiny library of photos, so it may be more up your alley if you’re looking for vintage movies from the 70’s and onward. This was an incredibly interesting and rapidly evolving era for the porn industry, so it’s amazing to have all of it archived here.
